To give a brief description about it:

There are two teams counter-terrorist and terrorist, there are two types of games bomb defuse maps and hostage maps each with different goals

Bomb defuse maps

Here the role of the terrorist is too plant the bomb in one of the bomb areas kill all of the counter-terrorist or wait till the bomb to explode to win the round. The role of the counter-terrorist is to kill the entire terrorist or simply find the bomb and defuse it after it has been planted.

Hostage maps

Here the role of the terrorist is preventing the counter-terrorist from rescuing the hostages or to kill all counter-terrorist, the role of the counter-terrorist is to find the hostages and bring them hostage rescue area or kill all terrorist.

Both teams have different weapons which is not available on the other sides which have different secondary fires or non and fire power, accuracy, max clip managements
